A list of people that deserve to be nominated for an Emmy for their performances this year (but probably won’t) | The girls of Cougar Town
Who knew a bad tittle could do you so much harm? No one is taking this show and this cast seriously because of it and it’s a shame because the show is hilarious and so is the cast, especially the three leading women, Courteney Cox, Busy Philipps and Christa Miller. Courteney Cox should get that nomination that is long-overdue, she’s the only Friends cast member who never got nominated. Busy Philipps just won a Critics Choice TV Awards and her speech was “You know I’m not even getting nominated for an Emmy, right?” and I’m afraid she’s right. Too bad.

I’m sure you know that this year at the VMA’s, in front of 12 million viewers, MTV once again showed their support for the abusive Chris Brown. This time they dressed him in all white and suspended him above the crowd with wires. Meanwhile, they gave Tyler, the Creator the Best New Artists award. That same night he tweeted: “VICTORIA JUSTICE IS GOING TO TAKE THIS DICK. or get socked in her fucking mouth.” He since deleted the tweet. This is the same guy who used the word “faggot” over 213 times in his first album.
MTV has a responsibility to their viewers to support artists who support women, not artists who think it’s okay to beat them — or talk about beating them. They should not use their influence to help misogynistic or homophobic artists pass on their message.

This bear cub was euthanized for being too friendly and curious of humans near the Terra Nova National Park in Newfoundland, Canada.
The Department of Fish and Wildlife says the bear was so friendly to humans that there was no other choice than to euthanize him. They had made an attempt previously to relocate the little bear but he came back. He liked people but more importantly, liked the food they gave him.
The killing of this beloved little bear cub brings up the whole debate of over “wildlife management.” Humans move into animal territory and complain about being surrounded by animals. We take away the land animals depend on for survival and we get mad that they are attracted to our food and our garbage.
To me, the death of this little bear is a sad reminder of how screwed up our relationship with animals really is.
